The Mets are just 2-8 in their last ten games, losers of their last six, sitting at the bottom of the NL East. The Mets front office decided to fire Carlos Mendoza from his manager position this morning. Ironically, the Phillies were in the same boat a few weeks back and turned their season around with a new manager. Is it too late for the Mets? Most likley, but they should get a shot of adrenaline with a “fresh slate”. Philadelphia is not as good offensively on the road or against lefties. We will take the run line, hoping the Mets can keep tonight’s game competitive. Take the Mets +1.5 -120.
