I don’t disagree at all, BB. Just noting that despite already blowing the entire game and still having one last shot to get to OT for a W, they couldn’t even get a basic daily practice play right.

Stupidity? Poor situational coaching? We had everything lined up for a shot at stealing a backdoor OT cover (after botching nearly the entire game), and they couldn’t resist making one last dumb mistake.

I had DET ML at +165, and the WWE-NFL scripts and hands that garbage to GB. That’s how bad things are running right now. If the league doesn’t issue an official apology to the Lions for that atrocity, I may never watch their product again.

Bob has always owned his record, good and bad, and I have no doubt that he will continue to do so. Most guys wouldn’t have the stomach to list a sub-.500 record, and we all know they’re full of it. Nobody goes 8-1 every week.

BB has and will continue to own this, and he’ll right the ship. The brutal bad beats swing both ways over time, and good fundamentals will come through over the long haul.
