Seahawks/Broncos Over 40.5 (loss)
Rotation #109-110 / 8:15 PM ET
The Seahawks are coming off a tough home loss to the 49ers, while the Broncos are coming off a win over the Chargers that they probably didn’t deserve. Nevertheless, a win is a win. The Chargers’ makeshift offensive line still managed to establish a running game against Denver’s defense. Seattle’s running game isn’t particularly strong, but the Seahawks should do enough on the ground to keep the Broncos’ defense honest and open up the passing game. The Broncos will once again be without Pat Surtain, while Riley Moss, who missed last week’s game, is questionable. I can’t see Denver rushing him back on a short week. To make matters worse, Talanoa Hufanga will also miss tonight’s game. Denver’s depleted secondary is vulnerable, and Seattle has the receiving and tight-end talent to take advantage. Broncos head coach Sean Payton took over play-calling duties from Davis Webb last week, but the offense looked like more of the same. Denver needs to open things up offensively. One wild card is that both teams have outstanding return men in Rashid Shaheed and Marvin Mims, along with reliable field-goal kickers. This total is low, and I understand that midweek football can be a different kind of game because of limited preparation time. However, both teams should be able to put enough points on the board to push this game over the total. Take the Over.

Brewers/Dodgers Over 8 Runs (win)
Rotation #913-914 / 8:00 PM ET
Listed Pitchers: Drohan/Glasnow
The Dodgers haven’t looked sharp in this series, but they have an opportunity to get on the board early against Shane Drohan, who hasn’t pitched particularly well in his last few road starts. The Brewers’ bullpen has been outstanding, posting a 0.31 ERA over 28 postseason innings. Milwaukee also escaped a bases-loaded jam after issuing three walks, narrowly avoiding disaster before striking back late in the game. The Brewers have all the confidence in the world right now, but beating this talented Dodgers lineup on the road won’t be easy. Los Angeles has been excellent against left-handed pitching all season, although the Dodgers have struggled in the playoffs for whatever reason. They should have an opportunity to get on the board early tonight. Tyler Glasnow is the better of the two starting pitchers, but he missed much of the season with back issues. Although he possesses outstanding strikeout ability, I wouldn’t consider him as playoff-ready as he would be following a fully healthy season. Both teams have enough offensive firepower to turn this into a higher-scoring game. Take the Over.
