Picks for 2/26/26
College Basketball

Rotation # 803-804
Michigan State/Purdue Over 142.5 (win)
Purdue has been great at home this year, but it has lost two games at Mackey Arena in recent weeks, against Illinois and Michigan. The Spartans might not be as efficient offensively as those teams, but they can rebound and create second-chance points. The Boilermakers are not a great three-point defense, so Jaxon Kohler could knock down a few big shots in addition to giving his teammates extra looks with key offensive rebounds. Michigan State is the more athletic team and would do better if they upped the pace. Purdue will look to take advantage of a Spartans defense that hasn’t looked as dominant away from the Breslin Center. Fletcher Loyer and Braden Smith are great guards who can shoot the long ball well. Spartans guard Jeremy Fears’ talent as a playmaker is as good as you are ever going to see at this level of basketball. Look for both teams to do enough to make this a higher-scoring contest. Take the Over.
