Rotation # 872
BYU -9.5 over Villanova (loss)
Villanova has moved on from the Kyle Neptune era and handed the keys to ex-Maryland coach Kevin Willard. The Wildcats brought in a few transfers with Willard from Maryland, and have high hopes for a few 4-star freshmen. The Wildcats don’t have a single player who was a regular starter in a major conference last year. On the other hand, BYU has three. Richie Saunders was the Cougars’ best player a year ago, looking to have a sensational senior year. Big man Keba Keita and Baylor transfer Robert Wright should be dominant pieces. The Cougars are excited to see 5-star recruit AJ Dybantsa and a few other role players like Dawson Baker in action. BYU is the #8 team in the nation, looking to make a deep NCAA Tournament run. Tonight’s game is on a neutral court in Las Vegas. The spread might seem high, but I am not sure the Wildcats can keep up from the three-point line. The Cougars scheduled more demanding non-conference opponents and need to make an immediate impact to be taken seriously as a top contender. Take BYU
