Rotation # 145-146
Rutgers/Minnesota Over 51.5 (win)
Rutgers quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis has looked great so far this season. Ian Strong is a talented receiver; if he played in the SEC, he would be a household name. Rutgers is well-balanced with quality running backs and should be able to take advantage of a Gophers team learning under first-year defensive coordinator Danny Collins. Minnesota has an excellent running game, but is dealing with a few injuries, so I expect them to throw more. Rutgers, too, is breaking in a brand new staff on the defensive side. The Scarlet Knights lost a lot of defensive starters from a year ago and lack depth. Look for a higher-scoring game. Take the Over.

Rotation # 182
Illinois +6.5 over USC (win)
USC had no problems these first few weeks against weaker opponents, but the next few weeks will be a real test for them. Illinois was embarrassed last week at Indiana, and the results of that game are why the oddsmakers made them a big underdog at home. Luke Altmyer is a veteran quarterback, and the Illini have three quality backs who can run the football. USC QB Jayden Maiava has been red-hot to start the year, but much of that concerns the lack of competition. The Trojans should not be favored this much on the road. Take Illinois.

Rotation # 175
LSU +1.5 over Ole Miss (loss)
LSU is looking to stay undefeated behind veteran quarterback Garrett Nussmeier. The Tigers will not have the luxury of running back Caden Durham in the lineup, forcing them to throw the ball downfield slightly more. The Tigers have a host of capable receivers who can make big plays. Ole Miss will start Trinidad Chambliss at quarterback today. Chambliss is a transfer from lower-level football and will get his first actual SEC test. The Tigers have the edge on the defensive side of the ball as they have a lot of quality starters and are much deeper with depth. The Tigers also have the edge at special teams. Look for the Tigers to secure a monster road victory. Take LSU.

Rotation # 188
Texas A&M -7 over Auburn (loss)
The Aggies are a decent-sized home favorite today. The true edge Texas A&M has is its massive offensive line and plethora of talented running backs that can break long runs on any given play. Quarterback Marcel Reed is a nightmare to defend when he leaves the pocket. It will be challenging for Auburn transfer QB Jackson Arnold on the road today. I am not thrilled with the Tigers’ running game, as they have much to prove. The Aggies have the more talented defense at all three levels and should coast from wire to wire at home. Take Texas A&M.

Rotation # 201
Ohio State -8.5 over Washington (win)
Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin has looked good this year as the defending champs look to secure a road victory in Seattle. The Huskies may not have a strong enough offensive line to stop the Buckeyes’ defensive front seven. Freshman running back Bo Jackson, unrelated to Bo Jackson, has been a pleasant surprise, in addition to James People and CJ Donaldson. Carnell Tate and Jeremiah Smith will look to pick on a Huskies secondary that is dealing with a few injuries, as Tacario Davis’ status is in question. The Buckeyes’ defense should take over the football game, and the offense should slowly pull away. Take Ohio State.

Rotation # 196
Penn State -3.5 over Oregon (loss)

Oregon is a great team, but it had four cupcakes to start the season. The Ducks are well-coached but could be overrated as they did lose a lot of talent from their outstanding team a year ago. Penn State is in the same boat as they played cupcakes to start the year, but where they differ is that they bring back a lot of talent from last year’s squad. QB Drew Allar is the better quarterback, and the  Nittany Lions have better running back and receiver rooms. The Nittany Lions are loaded with talent at all three levels of the defense and have the luxury of being at home. Happy Valley is going to be electric tonight. The Nittany Lions deserve their #3 ranking and should get a massive home win. Take Penn State.
