Rotation # 305
Bears +9.5 over Lions (win)
The “X” factor to this game is the Bears’ new offensive coordinator, Thomas Brown. Brown is a young coach who understands the new era of football and brings out the best in Bears QB Caleb Williams. Williams will not be treated with kid gloves and allowed to operate in his style of play. The Lions are the “best” team in football and the most lucrative to sports bettors, as they are the number one team in the league at covering spreads. Many new bettors jump out of the woodwork for the holidays, so the books would love nothing more than for Detroit to blow a few covers from here on out. The Lions will be without Taylor Decker on the offensive line and are starting to run thin on receivers as Kalif Raymond is on IR, and St. Brown is nursing a knee injury, which could limit his time on the field. Look for Chicago to hang tough like they did against the Vikings and Packers the last two weeks. Take the Bears.

Rotation # 307-308
Giants/Cowboys Under 37.5 (loss)
It’s a day to give thanks, but not for this matchup in Dallas, as both teams are on their backup quarterbacks. The Cowboys running game needs a complete overhaul in the offseason. The offensive line can’t stay healthy and needs the offseason to get right again. The Giants let go of starting quarterback Daniel Jones, telling the team that nobody is safe. Neither team is at full strength in the trenches. It’s hard to get excited for what will feel like a preseason game. Look for blunders, and let’s hope the turnovers don’t result in points. Tommy DeVito (now Drew Lock) and Cooper Rush are not quarterbacks that we trust to put up big numbers. Take the Under.

Rotation # 783
Florida -6.5 over Wake Forest (win)
We have a significant talent mismatch, as Florida is the superior team. The Gators have a decent advantage in size and are the more experienced group. It will be challenging for the Demon Deacons to stop Florida’s offense from doing what they want. FAU transfer Alijah Martin is a three-point machine that fits right into the offense. Martin’s rebound ability as the shortest player on the team is more impressive than his scoring. Martin’s presence will bring out the best in Walter Clayton and Will Richard. The Gators’ guard play will be challenging to stop this season. Take Florida.
