Yankees vs. Nationals

Rotation #901
Yankees -135 over Nationals (win)
Cole/Scherzer
The defending champions will start the year off in their home building with no fans. Who would have thought the world would change the way it has the last few months? The cardboard cut outs of fake people, fake crowd noise, no high fives and seeing players on the bench with masks on is going to be really weird, but at least we have sports back. This year the home field means nothing so we will try to avoid high money line selections. This might be as high as we go at -135. Gerrit Cole will make his much anticipated debut tonight against Max Scherzer. Both are excellent pitchers, but my edge goes to Cole who is a little younger and who needs to live up to his huge contract. The edge in talent goes to the Yankees as well. The Nationals are the defending champs, but they hit lighting in a bottle and I am not so sure they are the type of team that can repeat. I am glad to see you all back. Stay safe my friends. Take the Yankees.
