Raiders/Patriots Under 47 (loss)
I am sure you know that I am not a huge fan of playing under plays in this era of football. We see too many quick scoring drives via penalty, but in this case I like the value. Cam Newton has been beefed up big time this year. He runs the ball and other teams have yet to tackle him. I don’t trust him throwing the football as an actual quarterback and not for nothing, but this team doesn’t have that many great receivers. This team will also be missing their starting center today which is big when it comes down to timing and getting the snap off. This Patriots Defense is always great. The Raiders have looked good this year, but Josh Jacobs is banged up and so is Darren Waller. It will be tough for them to move the ball with these guys not at full speed. The Raiders have a lot of talent on defense and should keep Cam Newton in front of them. I don’t think both teams do enough to make this high scoring. Take the Under.

Titans -3 over Vikings (loss)
The Vikings have done nothing this year to show they can play 4 quarters and win a football game. Mike Zimmer is on the hot seat as his new OC & DC have been awful this year. This is a defense that is not up to NFL standards. It’s weird to type that because this has always been their bread and butter. This side of the ball just doesn’t have much experience or talent. The Titans are a complete football team who are balanced on offense and has the better defense. I don’t think Mike Vrabel will slip up in a spot like this. Vikings QB Kurt Cousins just doesn’t have it anymore. Take the Titans.

Bears/Falcons Over 47 (win)
This is one of those games where you wish Chicago had an aggressive coordinator on offense because they have all the offensive talent in the world and are being handcuffed by conservative play calling. The Falcons Defense is the perfect spot for Chicago to open it up. I would love to take the Bears to win outright, but I just don’t trust them to go 4 full quarters of not being dumb. The Falcons offense will put up their points. It’s the defense that is why this team is 0-2. As long as their totals stay in the 40’s there is no reason not to ride the over train until Vegas adjusts. the Bears need to unleash Mitch Trubisky. We want to see this guy sling the ball. Look for a high scoring game. Take the Over.

Saints -3.5 over Packers (loss)
The Saints are coming off a bad loss Monday Night in Vegas, but call it a good win for the Raiders. This team still have Drew Brees under center and even without Michael Thomas in the lineup has plenty of weapons. The Saints return 4 of 5 on the offensive line this year and at home are always good for points. Aaron Rodgers has looked great this year, but his offensive line is banged up with Lane Taylor or IR and with Jenkins and Turner nursing injuries. The Saints have a little bit more on offense and defense and I like them as the small home favorite. Take New Orleans.
