Bucs -8.5 over Panthers (win)
Tampa area fans have been anticipating this day for a long time.  Tom Brady will make his first home start.  These are two teams that lost last week and I know this spread is a little high for a new QB in a new system, but Carolina has a brand new coaching staff and this is the perfect opponent for Brady to get going against.  It’s hard to put up points when you have a new staff and are on the road.  Carolina has decent skill players, but this is a very solid and underrated Tampa Defense.  The real key in this game is the lack of defense right now by Carolina.  I don’t think this team is prepared to start the football season.  Brady should have time to throw and this entire Bucs staff knows he needs a 4 quarter show on the statistical scoreboard to get him going.  Take Tampa.

Rotation #267
Falcons +3.5 over Cowboys (win)
The Cowboys have problems on their offensive line.  This is a team missing key players and for the last few years the line was been the bread and butter of this team.  The edges can be exploited by the Falcons front seven.  Dallas is very predictable and if they are behind the chains won’t have a lot of success.  The Falcons have a lot of playmakers on offense and should attack the Cowboys Secondary that just sent Anthony Brown to IR and Trevon Diggs is a fresh faced rookie.  Good luck covering Julio Jones. This team has major issues at linebacker as well due to injury.  I think the Cowboys will sputter again on offense.  This dog play has decent value.  Take Atlanta.

Colts -3 over Vikings  (win)
Both teams coming this game 0-1 to start the season.  Minnesota doesn’t look right offensively with the departure of Stefon Diggs, but the real story is the once great defense this team had is a thing of the past.  This team just doesn’t have much talent anymore nor do they have a lot of quality depth.  It’s actually the Colts Defense that could be the next dynasty as they have experience and talent in all levels of their defense.  Marlon Mack will be a tough loss for the Colts, but I believe Phillip Rivers will throw the ball more and duplicate the game plan Aaron Rodgers and the Packers had last week.  The Vikings simply can’t cover and will have a hard time keeping up on the scoreboard.  Keep in mind this is a brand new offensive and defensive system for Minnesota as they brought in two new coordinators this year.  Head Coach Mike Zimmer is on the clock.  Take the Colts.

Rotation #278
Bears -5.5 over Giants (loss)
Mitch Trubisky got just the 4th quarter needed to get this team some confidence.  This is a solid offensive line and a group of running backs that can get move the ball well.  If Trubisky can get going this could be a much improved offense.  The key in this game is the Giants brand new staff in their first road game.  I don’t think this unit has enough on offense to move the ball enough to generate points.  This offensive line has a lot of new faces and it will take time before Daniel Jones trust them.  Saquon Barkley has yet to get going and I believe it will tough for them to move the ball on this Bears Defense.  Take Chicago.

Rotation #288
Seahawks -4 over Patriots (win)
The Patriots are a run first team and I think it can beat the Dolphins of the worlds but good luck playing catchup with this revamped Seahawks Offense.  Cam Newton looked good last week because Miami’s Defense looked bad.  It was not the other way around.  I still don’t trust this guy to go grab a road win against a quality football team.  The Patriots just don’t have the receivers if they get behind to mount comebacks.  Seattle has a lot of offensive weapons and Russell Wilson is always electric on primetime football.  Take the Seahawks.
