Dan Quinn is on thin ice. I don’ t think he keeps his job if he falls to a 1st year staff that were all in the college football circuit last year. Carolina is also missing their best player in Christian McCaffrey. Atlanta has played well in a lot of their games, but have blown leads. Carolina is not a team that is going to comeback if you get them in an early hole. The Falcons should move the ball well on offense against this defense. Atlanta does have a few injuries on defense, but are starting to get a few guys back. This is the ultimate test for Dan Quinn. Can you go from a new Super Bowl win to losing to a staff that wasn’t even in the NFL last year? Time will tell. I think they get their first win of the year today. Take the Falcons.

This is a two part play. Two straight bets. The Bill O’Brian era is over in Houston. We will see a new energy out of this team as they search for their first win of the year. The Jags Defense is the perfect opponent. I believe you will see a loose Texans team that will take the handcuffs off Deshaun Watson and let him fire the ball downfield. This Jags Secondary is a mess and Houston should be throwing the deep ball all game. I believe Houston can put up close to 40 points themselves today. Jacksonville is in trouble. Garner Minshew gives you flashes of greatness, but can’t do it for 4 full quarters. Take Houston and the Over.

The public is all over Pittsburgh and this number has stayed at 7 points all week, but the public is right sometimes. The Eagles don’t have any of their top receivers playing. This is an offensive line that is banged up that will be going against a Steelers front seven that is lethal. Carson Wentz has looked slow and unsure of himself most of the year and I just don’t see this team taking to the road and staying competitive against an elite football team. The Steelers Secondary has so many talented players. I don’t see the Eagles moving the ball much. On offense, the Steelers are loaded. This team can pick on this banged up Eagles Secondary and they can run the football in a balanced attack. This is a playoff team. The Eagles are not. Take the Steelers.

I don’t trust the Dallas Offensive Line. This unit is banged up and shuffled which means RB Ezekiel Elliott becomes less of a factor. I don’t trust Daniel Jones without Saquon Barkley in the backfield. Jones is not a threat when defenses can cheat. I don’t think either offense is going to get a good rhythm going today. I believe this game will have more of a vintage feel with a lot less points than the public thinks. Both teams will put themselves in holes via the offensive holding penalty. That keeps the chains moving backwards and the clock running. Take the Under.

Seattle is 4-0 and 4-0 Against the Spread (ATS). Everybody is betting them tonight. I do think the Vikings can hang tough as they have found multiple receivers to go to and they have a balanced running game. Remember that Seattle does have a secondary you can pick on. They have just been overlooked because of the great Russell Wilson. Both teams are going to chuck the ball all over the field and put up fireworks tonight. I wouldn’t be shocked to see the Vikings backdoor this cover either. Look for a ton of points. Take the Over.
