Rotation #253
Redskins +3.5 over Lions (win)
I don’t know what happened to Matthew Stafford, but his decision making has gone out the window. This is a guy that got fooled by a Vikings Defense that is young and inexperienced. The Redskins actually have a good defense as they are # in the NFL against the pass. Alex Smith is getting his first start since that horrific leg injury a few years ago. This team is focused and actually not out of the NFC East race. Detroit is looking towards next year and it seems Matt Patricia won’t be in the plans for head coach. Stafford has looked lost this year without his favorite target Kenny Golladay in the lineup. Look for Washington to take the ball away a couple times again today. Take the Redskins.

Rotation #257
Jaguars +14 over Packers (win)
To me this is Pittsburgh/Dallas from last week, but with really bad weather. It’s hard to win by over two touchdowns in the NFL and really hard when you can’t pass the ball as well because of the wind. We saw a few weeks ago how the Vikings controlled the clock and ran all over this Packers Defense. James Robinson is no Dalvin Cook, but the Jags can run the ball. This is an out of conference game so there isn’t as much weight to it when it comes to the value of winning it. Green Bay still has their best running backs banged up and really could use a game in which they just do enough and keep everybody healthy. This defense for the Packers just is not good enough to be big favorites when the weather conditions are really bad. Take the Jaguars.

Rotation #261
Bucs -5.5 over Panthers (win)
Bucs/Panthers Over 51 (win)
Tampa got beat up bad last week and are looking for a punching bag. The Panthers have a first year staff that has been excellent, but I just don’t see them stopping all of the Bucs weapons. This defense does not have the same talent as the Saints. This is a big divisional game and I believe Tampa will get back on track with all of their receivers finally being healthy again. Carolina will be without Christian McCaffrey which always hurts their chances, as he means more to his team than just about anybody in the NFL. This a good Panthers offense that will put up points. The wind is bad all over the NFL this afternoon, but this game will be not too bad. I think this will turn into a pretty entertaining shootout, but it will be the Bucs that pull away late. Take Tampa and the Over.

Rotation #270
Rams -2.5 over Seahawks (win)
This is a Seattle team that is vulnerable, but the public still loves them. The running game is a mess and the defense has struggled. Last week the Bills crushed them via the air. Jared Goff has the receivers to be able to do the same thing in perfect weather conditions as well. The Rams have a good pass defense and they have the bodies up front on defense to get to Russell Wilson. Aaron Donald makes his teammates so much better. The Rams are coming off a bye and had two weeks to prepare. This is a huge game for them in the standings. Take the Rams.

Rotation #253
Saints -9.5 over 49ers (win)
The Saints were flawless last week. There is just no other way to put it. The 49ers have a bunch of backups in key starting roles and just don’t have the talent to stay in this game. The 49ers won this matchup on the road last year in a high scoring thriller. The Saints will look to get revenge for them coming into their house and doing that to them. The task of winning should be a lot easier today with no Jimmy G, no George Kittle, no Debo Samuel and no Tevin Coleman. The 49ers are also missing key defenders as well. The Saints got a great last weekend, but it’s all for nothing if they can’t back it up and win today at home. I can’t see the 49ers doing enough to stay in this matchup offensively. New Orleans has too many targets to throw to and are too good on defense to slip up. Take the Saints.

Rotation #273
Ravens -7 over Patriots (loss)
This will a sloppy weather and windy game at night. This is the type of game that a team just quits when they get down on the scoreboard by a lot. The Patriots do not have the offense, the offensive line or the QB to fool Baltimore. The Ravens Front Seven are going to tee off on Cam Newton and force him into stupid decisions that lead to Baltimore points. On the other side of the ball the New England Patriots do not have the front seven to stop this rushing attack from the Ravens. This team barely has enough bodies to field a team let alone stop this ground game. This will get ugly. Take Baltimore.
