Arkansas -1 over LSU (loss)
LSU has not played for a couple of weeks and for the rest of the season will be going with a true freshman quarterback.  This is a team that lost all of their weapons  on offense and on defense have looked soft.  Feleipe Franks is a great quarterback with a lot of weapons and Rakeem Boyd could have a breakout game running the ball.  LSU has no rhythm going and with the early start time could be down in a hole before halftime.  Take Arkansas.

Arkansas State/Texas State Over 67.5 (win)
Arkansas State has the best offense in the Sun Belt going against a young Texas State Defense that just isn’t good.  The Arkansas State Defense itself is bad so Brady McBride should be able to find his experienced receivers for big scoring drives.  I have noticed that in early start times it’s the defenses that are typically still asleep.  I think both teams can start off on a nice pace and trade scoring all afternoon.  Look for a high scoring game.  Take the Over.

Iowa +1 over Penn State (win)
Iowa/Penn State Over 45 (win)
Penn State is lost.  This is a team that lost on the last play of the game against Indiana on a iffy call and it really sent them into a spiral.  James Franklin has beaten Kirk Ferentz in all four career matchups so you know the veteran coach Ferentz is looking for payback.  Iowa protects the QB and runs the ball well.  This team has so many offensive weapons and are balanced enough to lure you to sleep with the run and then to hit you on a big pass play.    Penn State needs to find a solid number one qb.  Will Levis probably gives them the best chance to win.  PSU is a fast tempo team which means more plays and more points.  I think this total is set very low.  Iowa is the team with more confidence right now and their lack of big time mistakes should earn them the win.  Take Iowa and the Over.

Missouri -6 over South Carolina (win)
South Carolina just had a coaching change as Muschamp is out and Mike Bobo takes over.  Collin Hill is not a mobile QB and the lack of the duel threat has defenses sitting back waiting.  The gamecocks defense has looked bad this year against some really vanilla offenses.  Missouri does have a young coaching staff, but the offensive talent is there and I just don’t see South Carolina staying in this football game.  Look for the Missouri Defense to make big plays tonight.  Take Missouri.

NC State -5.5 over Liberty (loss)
Hugh Freeze is the man.  What a coach!  The Flames are 8-0 this year, but their schedule has been awful.  This team did beat Syracuse which has their own injury issues, but the win at VTech proves this is a really good team.  I just don’t think they can continue to keep it up against better athletes.  This is a really light offensive line that I believe the Wolfpack front seven can handle.  NC State has so many great offensive weapons and their offensive line should hold up against this defense and any pressure it brings.  This is a game in which NC State is the bigger and more physical team and they should have no problem putting up 40 plus points.  Liberty will be undefeated no more.  Take NC State.
