I do agree BB, but in this game Mississippi St just can’t move the ball against the #118 pass defense. It’s honestly pathetic.
That PI against Baltimore is all you have to see to know the NFL wants games to go a certain way. Let’s not even talk about the “roughing the passer” earlier in the game.
Toledo doesn’t even want to be there it seems. You have a RB averaging 5+ yrds a carry on the year and you would rather have your subpar kicker go for a 40+ yrd fg. Ride Koback and Finn in the running game to open up a few shots down field.
Agreed BB. They held KC to 10 points, why not kick the FG at the end and be up 7? Then their first position they have 2 good runs to the 5 yrd line only to throw 4 times straight.
Today really hurts man. San Diego and Iowa played horribly and Pickett only throws for 2 TD’s. Who would guess that beginning at 10mins left in the 4th that WF and Pitt would finish the game by only running the ball (and the clock). I really hope we start to turn this around.
Obviously not Bob but, I’m assuming people overreacting to their loss to North Texas (which started to play really well at the end of the season). Zappe (WKY QB) is a stud at QB though and has been playing great as of late. This is a tough call for me.
