Can you explain to me how the Dodgers allowed the starter to give up 8 runs in one inning without going to the bullpen and then take their top three hitters out of the game in the 3rd inning. It’s like they came into the game knowing they would lose.
I get it that you can’t be engaged for 162 games, but you don’t see a pitcher allow 10 runs before being pulled. It’s like they conceded immediately which is not normal for a playoff contending team.
