Both teams put the game way over the total relatively early in last night’s ball game. I expect similar results today, as neither starting pitcher combined with two bad bullpens should be involved with a total set this low. Orioles starter Cade Povich has been beaten up by the competition all season. The A’s are excellent against lefties and should put up a lot of runs once again. A’s starter Luis Morales has only two big league innings under his belt and will make his first start. Young pitchers combined with poor bullpens equals a lot of runs. The Orioles are a team with a good slugging percentage against righties and are impressive during day games at home. Look for the Orioles’ offense to get back on track and for both bullpens to struggle, giving us a few late runs if needed. We will play the total once again! Take the Over.
