UCLA -3.5 over Northwestern (win)
You have to credit Northwestern as they have won three straight games, all on the heels of losing two of their best guards late into the season. The Wildcats beat up on teams with losing records in conference play, but still, it’s been impressive. UCLA plays excellent defense, and you can bet that Bruins head coach Mick Cronin will double-team Nick Martinelli and dare the Wildcats to beat them with role players. I don’t think they can. Tyler Bilodeau, Eric Dailey, and Kobe Johnson are three transfer forwards who immediately impacted the Bruins. The Bruins have a handful of guards that can spread the floor and create offense. Look for the Wildcats to return from the high they have been on. Take UCLA.
