If the season ended today, the Braves would be outside the wildcard race. Atlanta is by far the best team that is not in a current playoff spot. The two teams ahead of Atlanta are the Mets and Diamondbacks, which have losing records against teams over .500. Atlanta needs to beat the teams it clearly is better than. Atlanta has a bullpen that can get them into a deep playoff run, but they must go on a run in the final two weeks of the year. Atlanta and the Mets have a series coming up, but Atlanta needs to gain ground heading into it. Let’s go with Atlanta in a must-win game. Take the Braves run line.
