St. Mary’s comes from a better conference that plays more talented teams, but their offense is not good at all. This team plays at a snail pace and uses great defense. I am not so sure the Gaels will be able to stop this veteran WKU team. Charles Bassey is a next level big man who is great around the rim and can even step out and hit a three pointer. This guy is going to make a lot of money. St. Mary’s just doesn’t have the athletes to hang against a super athletic Hilltoppers team that gets to the foul line a lot with their aggressive style of play. Let’s just hope there is no surprise opt outs before tip-off. Take Western Kentucky.
