Knicks -2.5 over Spurs (loss)
The age at which a male’s frontal lobe fully develops is around 25 years old. Just about every Spurs player is under that age, and it can’t be stressed enough how impressive it was that they won on the road after being down 0-2 in a hostile road environment. Sometimes we forget these young players are professionals, and it showed the other night. The Knicks went on a huge run to take a massive halftime lead and were a no-show in the second half, or they would be in a position to wrap up the series tonight. San Antonio took advantage of every Knicks turnover, which was the difference in the game as both teams were statistically about even. The Knicks are not an elite fast-break team or great in the paint, but in this series, they have won in those areas, which I credit to their veteran lineup taking advantage of a younger Spurs organization. Look for the Knicks to come out much faster in this game and share the ball much better. Jalen Bruson should make better decisions with the basketball than he did the other night, which in turn will lead to fewer Spurs points off the turnover. Take the Knicks.

There will be no better chance to get back on track than against the struggling Michael Lorenzen and against the weak Rockies bullpen. Cubs starter Shota Imanaga has given up a lot of big hits in his last few starts, but he gets a chance to get back on track against a Rockies team that is weak against left-handed pitchers. Look for Chicago to chase Lorenzen early and to do work on the Colorado bullpen. We will take the run line. Take the Cubs -1.5 runs -105.
