Rotation #683
Virginia Tech -2.5 over Syracuse (loss)
Syracuse lost their top three players last year, including both of the coaches’ sons. Jim Boeheim has seen better days as a head coach, and his recruits have dipped over the last few years. The Orange brought in a few good freshmen but could have done better at grabbing premium talent in the transfer portal. Hunter Cattoor is back in the lineup for the Hokies. Virginia Tech is a slow-paced team that protects the ball and any team in the country. The Hokies are better on offense and defense and should be patient enough to succeed against the 2-3 defense Cuse plays. The Hokies have lost four straight games by just a bucket or two and need a big win to get back on track. Take Virginia Tech.

Rotation #707
UConn -2.5 over Marquette (loss)
Both UConn and Marquette play excellently on offense. Still, the Golden Eagles of Marquette are not a great defensive team because they are very young and will need another year to get better at transitioning from offense to defense. UConn plays at a frantic pace, and I don’t know if Marquette will be able to slow them down with their lack of size. The Huskies take on the personality of Dan Hurley, their head coach, as they play tough and aggressively. Take UConn.
