Wake Forest +3 over Stanford (win)
It’s hard for teams to go from one coast to the other to play a game, but Wake Forest has been a quietly decent team the last few years. Stanford hasn’t played a challenging schedule, so they might look better on paper than they are. Wake Forest won the previous matchup on their home court a few weeks ago. Kyle Smith has done a great job in his first year as coach for the Cardinal, but The Deamon Deacons defense will be ready for the challenge. Senior guards Hunter Sallis and Cameron Hildreth are veteran floor generals who can take over a game. Tre’Von Spillers was a key transfer portal addition and is excellent at securing rebounds and blocking shots. The Cardinal played well in their first ACC season, but their home schedule has been easy. Stanford is the same team that lost to Cal Poly at home. The Deamon Deacons are a well-coached team and have the experience to win. Take Wake Forest.
