Maryland -3.5 over Michigan State (loss)
It will be an exciting photo finish in the BIG 10 as a few teams try to overtake Michigan and Michigan State. Maryland is 16-1 at home this year and has been red-hot as of late. The Terps play solid defense and have the offensive pace and scoring touch missing from past teams. Derik Queen and Julian Reese have the size and strength to disrupt opponents’ shots, making them have to shoot from further out. I expect the Terps to disrupt the Spartan’s shooting, forcing them to shoot longer-range shots. Both teams play outstanding defense, but the edge goes to the home team. Look for the Terps to be the bigger and stronger team around the rim. Take Maryland.
