Eastern Illinois -3.5 over Evansville (loss)
Evansville fired their coach mid season last year and they have not won a game since. In their last game they had a UT Martin team that had a new coach and basically no returning players only to lose in double overtime. This is a team that can’t hit foul shots and a team that is mentally weak. Eastern Illinois is not a great basketball team, but they are a veteran unit returning most of their players all who are seniors. I just don’t see Evansville winning games when they couldn’t even beat a UT Martin team from a weaker conference. Until they show a turnaround with the ability to win why not just wager against them at such a low number? Take Eastern Illinois.

Georgia Tech -2 over Nebraska (win)
Georgia Tech returns just about their entire team from last year minus James Banks. Nebraska lost 4 of their top 5 players and have a few suspensions and injuries to start the year. This team brought in key transfer players, but I am not so sure they have played together long enough to beat this scrappy Yellow Jackets team. Jose Alvarado is an excellent player who shares the ball so well. The guard play for this Georgia Tech team is very good as they share the ball very well. The Yellow Jackets have the experience edge and should simply outscore Nebraska tonight. Take Georgia Tech.
