Saint Joe’s is 20 years removed from Jameer Nelson leading the way and this being a great basketball team. Billy Lange has struggled for a few years as head coach but now has a roster of veteran players. Taylor Funk, Jordan Hall, Dahmer Bishop, and Cameron Brown returned as top minutes leaders last year. The Hawks have added Vanderbilt transfer Ejike Obinna to grab rebounds and redirect shots. Half of the Quakers players have not played D1 basketball until this year, and this team’s offense has yet to get going. Some IVY league schools will struggle from sitting out last year due to Covid 19. These are games the Hawks have to win at home to prove they are turning the page. Take St. Joseph’s.
