Duquesne returns the bulk of their top players from last year while UNC Greensboro replaces three of their top five. This is a good Spartans team that finished 2nd in the Southern Conference last year, but the Dukes of Duquesne play much tougher competition in the A-10. This is going to be a good game, but I lean towards the Dukes because of their experience and ability to share the ball with each other. Take Duquesne.

Drexel -5 over Quinnipiac (win)
Quinnipiac could have competed for the MAAC this year, but Rich Kelly and Kevin Marfo both went to play their senior seasons elsewhere. Drexel will have the edge on the glass tonight and will be the better offensive team. The Dragons core group remains the same. Look for the Dragons to be the more physical team as they have stronger players. Camren Wynter should be sensational once again this year. Take Drexel.

Evansville -4 over UT Martin (loss)
My heart goes out to Evansville because they just have not won a game in the longest time, but my heart really goes out to UT Martin. Head coach Anthony Stewart passed away two weeks ago and his son Parker Stewart is now in the transfer portal. Parker was the only real offensive threat this year. UT Martin now will lean on a new coach and they just don’t have the guard play yet. Evansville beat Kentucky last year so this teams talent is better than the effort they have given. The experience edge is massive in this game. The Purple Aces will never get a better chance to get into the win column then they have today. Take Evansville.
