The Dodgers are back on a winning streak after a brutal stretch where nothing went right. The LA bullpen has been shaky as of late, leaving the door open for late runs by the opponents. Dodgers starter Eric Lauer is coming off a horrendous performance; he allowed 11 hits in just four innings of work against the Cubs. Lauer doesn’t have the strikeout power in his game this year, which makes him harder to trust after that outing. Kansas City will try to get on the board early and keep pressure on the Dodgers to avoid getting swept. The Royals will start Daniel Lynch, who has pitched decently in his limited work this year. Lynch won’t go long, putting more stress on one of the worst bullpens in baseball. With the wind blowing out at Dodger Stadium, the matchup leans toward more scoring. Take the Over.
