It was going to be a long shot for Denver to win this series and in game 2 they had a chance to steal the game and they could not do it. The odds are stacked so much against them to begin with. They had to win that game. The Lakers now will be playing loose and should put together one or two big runs to put this game away as they inch closer to the sweep. This older team could use some rest before the NBA Finals. There is work to be done first, but this team is on their way. The defense for LA is just far too good for the Nuggets to do anything but throw up 3 point prayers. Take the Lakers.
