The Mets have been impressive offensively over the last month and have hit the ball better on the road this year. You have to give the Mets credit for continuing to swing the bats well with nothing to play for. Rangers starter MacKenzie Gore hasn’t been very impressive, and neither has the Rangers bullpen. The Rangers are much better against left-handed pitching and must win battles against eliminated teams as we head down the final few games of the MLB season. Mets starter Sean Manaea hasn’t been impressive either and is susceptible to giving up the long ball. It will be a dogfight between the Astros and Rangers in the AL Central as it’s division or bust. Look for a higher-scoring game. Take the Over.
