It has been 612 days since Columbia last took the court. This is a team that missed last year because of the pandemic as the IVY League cancelled their season last year. This was a team that in 2019 was really bad winning just one IVY League game and the only guys who return were all deep bench players. 8 players on this Lions team will make their college debut tonight. Fordham has a new coach in Kyle Neptune. I wouldn’t play a new coach in his first game, but Neptune comes from the Villanova staff and learned under one of the best. The Rams have better players and have brought in a few transfers this year as well. I think you will see a lot of rust and turnovers from a Columbia team that is basically a brand new team.
