Picks for 11/18/25
College Basketball
9:00 PM EST
Rotation # 635-636
Kansas/Duke Under 149 (win)
Non-conference play can be tricky, as teams are unfamiliar with each other and often play on neutral sites where their different styles clash. Kansas is a good defensive team, but offense isn’t its strong suit at this point in the year, especially with McDonald’s All-America 5-star recruit and projected #1 NBA Draft Pick Darryn Peterson remaining out. Duke has better offensive players and is coming off three monster offensive performances against much lesser talent. Kansas will play much better defense tonight than Indiana State, Army, and Western Carolina did against the Blue Devils. The game should start at 9 PM EST, but it all depends on the game in front of them concluding. Often, the tip-off gets pushed back, and you have two teams standing around waiting. There should be a feeling-out process, as this will be the most challenging game of the season to date for both young teams. I don’t trust Kansas to connect from behind the three-point line enough to put up a lot of points. Neither team plays at a fast pace, so I expect the projected total to come up short. Take the Under.
