Thunder -7 over Timberwolves (win)
Minnesota and Oklahoma City split their head-to-heads this year, so this should be a decent series. The Timberwolves have size and have the experience edge, but when it comes to raw talent, the Thunder are by far the best team left in the playoffs. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is playing like Michael Jordan, and that’s not an understatement as crazy as it might sound. The Thunder is a great scoring team that plays at a NASCAR pace. Oklahoma City turns teams over and will look to overwhelm the Timberwolves. Tonight’s game is a contrast in styles. Minnesota is a great three-point shooting team, but they are not good in the paint area. The Timberwolves will stay in the game if they hit their three-point shots. The problem is that the Thunder have the best three-point defense in the NBA. Home court means just about everything. Take the Thunder.

Rotation # 901-902
Cubs/Marlins Over 8.5 runs (win)
Taillon/Weathers
The Cubs blew the game with two outs in the ninth last night as Miami won a thriller. The Marlins will look to add to their momentum facing off against Cubs starter Jameson Taillon. Taillon is a good pitcher, but he has moments where he gives up home runs in bunches. Miami will start Ryan Weathers, who hasn’t pitched much the last few years and isn’t someone you can trust, especially against a Cubs offense that crushes left-handed pitching. I don’t trust either bullpen right now. Look for a high-scoring game. Take the Over.
