Georgia Tech +1.5 over Notre Dame (loss)
Notre Dame is one of the youngest teams in the country, and elimination games will be challenging for them. Georiga Tech is a more talented team and should be the favorite in today’s game. I don’t trust the Notre Dame offense or their ability to move the ball to find open looks. The Irish are not a deep team and need to recruit better players for next year. I like how they played defense this year, but that can only get you far when you can’t score. The Yellow Jackets top scorer, Miles Kelly, needs to have a big afternoon. It won’t be a blowout, but the Irish lack of pure scoring will be the difference. Take Georgia Tech.

NC State -8.5 over Louisville (win)
As you are already aware, I am not a fan of taking big favorites, but the Wolfpack are leap years ahead of the Cardinals as a program. NC State is a veteran team that protects the basketball. Louisville is bad at stopping teams’ offenses and can’t stop the three-point shot. Keys to an upset are the ability of a team to turn teams over and block shots. The Cardinals can’t do that. The Wolfpack are better in almost every area of play and are not trying to be embarrassed by the league’s worst team that can’t win away from home. The Wolfpack guards will have a field day. Take NC State.
