Kent State lost a lot of key players from their team last season so I don’t think they should be huge favorites. Miami Ohio is a veteran team that has played together for a few years. I don’t think the Golden Flashes will be able to turnover the RedHawks enough to win this game in blowout fashion. Miami Ohio has the better pure scorers and should keep this game close. Take Miami Ohio.

This should be a great game tonight. Sasha Stefanovic is out with covid for Purdue so that is a big hit for them when it comes to 3 point shooting. The Terps are the more athletic team that should have too much firepower at home tonight against the shorthanded Boilermakers team that gets very young without Stefanovic. Take Maryland.

Illinois -2.5 over Indiana (win)
Indiana has great individual talent, but this team also has been hit hard with the injury bug this year. Illinois is an athletic team that can win on the glass. Ayo Dosunmu, Trent Frazier and Kofi Cockburn are excellent players. This is a team that could make a deep tournament run if they avoid the turnovers. This Fighting Illini roster has more overall talent and should take advantage of a shorthanded Hoosier team. Take Illinois.

USC is a well coached team with a lot of size. Stanford is an improving team, but they have a lot of key players that have been banged up and are questionable tonight. This team has played well, but tonight will be a tough test against a very athletic basketball team. The Trojans have too much fire power and should cash in on the road. Take USC.
