Rotation # 604
Purdue +2.5 over Michigan (loss)
College basketball’s top team, Michigan, is a perfect 7-0 on the road in conference play, but today’s game in West Lafayette will be its toughest challenge to date. Purdue has one last shot to get back into the BIG 10 race and would make things quite interesting down the stretch with a win tonight. The Boilermakers can slow the pace with veteran guards Braden Smith and Fletcher Loyer playing at a tempo of their liking. Oscar Cluff and Trey Kaufman-Renn have the size to challenge Michigan’s bigs. The Wolverines will have to bring their A-game offensively because Purdue can score in bunches. Look for the Boilermakers to be in the game down to the wire. Take Purdue.

Rotation # 615-616
UNC/NC State Over 155.5
North Carolina has been hit hard by the injury bug. Caleb Wilson is out with a wrist injury, and Henri Veesaar is questionable tonight after missing the last game against Pitt. North Carolina is looking like they will tip off tonight with their top two scorers, rebounders, and shot blockers in street clothes. Still, not all hope is lost for a Tar Heels team that is a hefty underdog because of the atrocious three-point defense the Wolfpack plays. UNC head coach Hubert Davis needs to let his players let loose tonight from behind the arc. On the other sideline, Will Wade is trying to get the Wolfpack back on track after their heartbreaking loss against Miami in a game they handed away. The Wolfpack shoots the ball well and will look to exploit a UNC three-point defense that hasn’t been much better than theirs. Look for tonight’s game to turn into a quicker-paced battle with a lot of offense. I don’t know if I trust the Wolfpack at this number, even with all of the Tar Heel injuries. It’s hard for a group of transfers and a new coach to all be on the same page for 40 minutes on the defensive end. Look for a higher-scoring game. Take the Over.
