Illinois and Penn State are both outside of the top 25. The Illini are ranked higher than PSU, but the homecourt advantage gives Penn State the edge. Both teams are guard-heavy, but the Nittany Lions have more experienced guards up and down their roster. Look for Jalen Pickett to take over the game and for the homecourt to be a significant advantage for the Nittany Lions. Take Penn State.

Jerome Tang took over for the great Bruce Weber as a coach, but he still has Weber’s recruits. The Wildcats have been incredible this year as they look to make a deep NCAA Tournament run. Coach Tang did a great job in the transfer portal to grab excellent talent. The Wildcats have the experience edge and won’t be overly confident heading into this game, as they have not performed up to par in the last few matchups. Look for the Wildcats to take care of business against the worst team in the BIG 12.
