St. Bonaventure/St. Joe’s Over 134
St. Joe’s is coming off an emotional victory as they honored their coaches dad who passed away last week. This team was on fire in this building and crushed St. Louis who typically is a good defense. Charlie Brown is starting to really look like a superstar and sometimes tragedies bond a team for the better. I still think the Hawks have a long way to go with the injuries they have suffered this year, but this team should put up points tonight. St. Bonaventure’s had no problem scoring in the first meeting this year. St. Joe’s got out to the worst possible start you could imagine a few weeks ago against this team. I don’t expect that to be the case tonight. Look for both teams to do enough to make this high scoring. Take the Over.

Purdue -2.5 over Maryland
Maryland is a young talented team that can play with anyone in the country for 30 mins or maybe 35 minutes, but their youth gets the best of them in big games. This game in my opinion is going to go much like the UVA/UNC game last night. Maryland in addition to being young has a tough time scoring close to the rim against teams that can protect the rim. Purdue has the size to make Maryland shoot a lot of three pointers. This style of play works only if you are red hot on any given night. Purdue is a little more polished at this point in the year and should get a big road win. Take Purdue.
