Picks for 4/7/26

Rotation # 927
Astros/Rockies Over 11 runs (loss)
Burrows/Freeland
The Astros’ offense is currently the best in baseball against left-handed pitching, and they have the luxury of the wind blowing out at hitter-friendly Coors Field. Houston is racking up a lot of extra base hits against left-handers, but their bullpen can’t be trusted at this point in the year. The Houston rotation’s backend is giving up a lot of walks and home runs, so no lead is safe, especially in parks known for offense. All it took was one inning last night for the Rockies to explode for eight runs. I doubt we will see another inning like that, but both teams should do enough again to make it a higher-scoring contest. Take the Over
