49ers -10.5 over Giants (win)

I am not a fan of wager on double-digit favorites, but the 49ers are a much better football team. The Giants were two quarters away from their coach losing his job and pulled off a spectacular 2nd half-comeback against a bad Arizona team. The Giants lost Saquon Barkley on an unnecessary play last week and will be without 40 percent of their offensive line tonight as Andrew Thomas and Ben Bredeson are out. Nick Bosa will say hello to Daniel Jones multiple times tonight. Teams that can’t run the ball and have patchwork offensive lines typically need help on the road. Barkley was also the Giants’ top returning receiver from the 2022 team, so expect the passing game to struggle. San Francisco will play in front of a wild home crowd and are stacked on the offensive line. The 49ers have great running backs and a ton of excellent receivers. Tonight’s game is a talent mismatch that San Francisco should dominate. Take the 49ers.
