Memphis -7 over Tulsa (win)
Tulsa has a big problem if quarterback Davis Brin . It’s a short week, so the chances Brin dresses or plays and is effective are slim. Memphis has lost four straight and is itching for a home win. Tulsa has a good pass defense, but their rush defense is poor, and Memphis should have a great ground game with all of their veteran running backs. Memphis QB Seth Henigan will get his chances to throw the ball deep when Tulsa tries to stop the run. Tulsa has receivers, but I am not sure it matters tonight with the Brin nursing a shoulder injury. The home crowd will be excited to see the Tigers break a losing streak. Take Memphis.

Panthers +2.5 over Falcons (win)

The Panthers were embarrassed last week against Cincinnati, and we saw Baker Mayfield back in the game late. We will see a lot more of him tonight. PJ Walker has been named the starter again but will have a short leash. The Panthers get Chubba Hubbard back, giving them a considerable boost in the running game. Atlanta lost to the Chargers last week, but their banged-up running backs had a big day. Atlanta, like the Chargers, is awful at stopping the run. The Panthers are the better complete team and should win the game. Good defenses travel well, but that is not the case with Atlanta, as their secondary is thin, and the front seven could be better. Carolina should dictate the pace and win big. Take the Panthers and the Over.
