Celtics -8.5 over Pacers (win)
The Pacers put on a masterpiece for 47 minutes the other night and went on to choke the game way. Indiana was coming off a thrilling game seven blowout win, and their momentum carried over to Game one against the Celtics. You can’t give games away and expect to win a big series. The Pacer defense is as bad as it gets. Boston has the better coaching staff and will adjust to everything they did poorly in game one. I expect Boston to play tight defense and for them to frustrate a flustered team. TD Garden will be on fire tonight, and the crowd and severity of the game will overwhelm the overachieving Pacers. Al Horford and Jrue Holiday are veteran players who play great defense and will lead the Celtics to a big win against the young Pacers team. Take the Celtics.
