Rotation # 537
Timberwolves +7.5 over Thunder (loss)
Undoubtedly, the Thunder are the better overall team, as they don’t have any glaring weakness other than shooting lousy from the foul line. The Timberwolves don’t do many things great, but they are consistent in all areas of the game and have the experience edge. Chris Finch has turned the Timberwolves organization around after inheriting a bad basketball team five years ago. Anthony Edwards is a superstar that can keep his team in the game. Minnesota has physical players that can rebound and challenge the Thunder in the paint. The oddsmakers set a good line tonight. Minnesota played well for most of game one before they fell apart late. I look for similar results tonight, but Minnesota will be in striking distance down the stretch and can steal a few points with potential Thunder misses from the charity stripe. We will take our chances with the underdog to stay inside the number. Take the Timberwolves.

Rotation # 915-916
Mariners/Astros Over 8.5 runs (win)
Kirby/McCullers
Mariners starter Lance Kirby will make his first start of the year after being injured in the offseason. Astros starter Lance McCullers missed two and half seasons with his injury and is trying to work his way back into a rotational pitcher. Neither team is great against right-handed starters, but with a total this low, you would expect two well-polished starters to be in their zone. Neither pitcher is close to being ready, and chances are one of them is going to get knocked around. Look for both teams to do enough to make this a higher-scoring game. Take the Over.
