Picks for 5/14/26
MLB
7:15 PM EST
Rotation # 957-958
Cubs/Braves Over 7.5 runs (loss)
Brown/Sale
The bad news for the Cubs is that they have lost four straight. It’s going to be hard to break that streak tonight against Chris Sale, but the good news is that he is a left-handed pitcher. The Cubs have an outstanding slugging percentage against lefties. Atlanta has the best batting average at home and is the best team in baseball against right-handed pitchers. The wind is blowing out to center at Truist Park, and we could see a few big hits. I don’t expect a shootout, but both teams should do enough to make it a high-scoring game. Take the Over.
