Woo/Stroman
The Yankees are back on a winning streak after a dreadful six-game losing streak. The Yankees hit right-handers well and are great at home, but have to go against the rock-solid Bryan Woo, who has pitched well this year. Tonight’s wagering line is even, but based on the starting pitchers, Woo has a clear advantage over the banged-up and diminutive Marcus Stroman. Stroman is seven inches shorter and 40 pounds lighter than the average MLB starting pitcher and can’t handle the workload as he gets older. He was fun to watch a few years ago with the Cubs, but he is not the same pitcher. Look for Seattle to avoid the sweep. Take the Mariners.
