Georgia +1 over Notre Dame
Not many people are giving Georgia a chance with QB Carson Beck out. Notre Dame has been playing well, but as we know, they have laid a massive egg in big games in the past playoff systems. QB Riley Leonard has been great this year, and Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price have been outstanding running backs. Will the offensive line hold up against an SEC front seven? Georgia Head Coach Kirby Smart is the ultimate “X” factor, having won big football games for many years. It will be tough for QB Gunner Stockton, but Georgia should take the same game plan Northern Illinois had when they beat Notre Dame in South Bend. Run the ball with Trevor Etienne and Nate Frazier and control the clock. Stockton helped win the SEC Title for the Bulldogs, so he is not a pushover. Georgia had the most demanding schedule in college football, and they have gotten this far. I don’t know if I trust Notre Dame Head Coach Marcus Freeman to win such a big game. Take Georgia.
