Eastern Washington -2.5 over Northern Colorado (loss)
Both teams were tops in the Big Sky last year and should be right there towards the top again this year. Northern Colorado has played more games this year, but I still believe Eastern Washington has the better roster with more experience talent and it helps that their coaching staff has been in place for four years now. Both coaches are young and have a bright future, but the it’s still learning on the job for Steve Smiley in his first year with the Bears program. The Eagles guards are still better and they should take care of business on the road tonight. Take Eastern Washington.

Santa Clara +4 over San Francisco (loss)
San Francisco will be a public play for the rest of the year for being the team that knocked off Virginia. This is a team with a 35 year old head coach that has a very good basketball team, but will be facing a Santa Clara team that has the height and weight advantage tonight in addition to being a more overall experienced team. Herb Sendek has been coaching for longer then Todd Golden has been alive. I like the value in the home dog tonight. Take Santa Clara.

Utah -2 over Washington State (win)
Washington State got off to a hot non conference start, but have come back down to earth in conference play. This is a team that finished 11th in the PAC 12 last year and isn’t very experienced. Utah has been under the radar, but Larry Krystkowiak brings back most of the starters from last year, is healthier and are better pure shooters. The Utes won this match up last year and should have similar results again tonight. Take Utah.
