Cal has been a struggling basketball team for about a decade. The Mark Fox era is over, and Mark Madsen has this team going in the right direction. Jalen Cone and Jaylon Tyson have been excellent transfer acquisitions, and the Golden Bears will be a much better team one month from now. Washington has an experienced squad with a more demanding schedule and is hard to guard with their fast-paced style. Keion Brooks is the Husky’s leader, and Sahvir Wheeler and Moses Woods were great transfer portal pickups. The Huskies are a better team at this point. CAL could have a better home-court advantage as attendance is low so that the Huskies won’t be affected by noise. Take Washington.
