UCLA -9 over Washington State (win)
UCLA will be without the services of Chris Smith for the year, but they have a pretty deep basketball team and will be going against a very young and shall I say slightly overrated Washington State team. The Cougars themselves could be short handed without Noah Williams which makes them very young. I just don’t see the firepower on the offensive end and in a 40 minute game the Bruins should pull away and win by double digits. Take UCLA.

San Diego State +1.5 over Utah State (loss)
San Diego State will probably take a step back this year, but still are loaded with veteran talent going against a Utah State team that will obviously not be as good this year as Sam Merrill was a once in a lifetime player. I like the transfer the Aztecs brought in this season. Terrell Gomes is a great addition at guard and I believe this experienced team is a little bit better and should win as the Utah State home court advantage just isn’t there in a pandemic year. The wrong team is favored. Take San Diego State.
