Tennessee State has struggled in conference this year. This is a Tigers team that just doesn’t have the best guard play and overall are undersized. Tennessee Tech brings back their top two guards from last year so I trust them to be floor generals and to protect the ball. Both teams only have 3 wins on the year so in a game like this experience matters. I just don’t think Tennessee State has much good going for them right now. Take Tennessee Tech.

Loyola Marymount +5.5 over San Francisco (win)
San Fran has a bright young coach and they are on the map for beating UVA this year, but this team lives and dies by the three pointer. Loyola has a pretty good defense and I do expect them to guard the three point line better than most teams in the conference do. This Lions team is on fire right now and they have proven they can win on the road. This team is not only long, but full of wide bodies that can muscle their way on the defensive end. I will take the more experienced and physically athletic team tonight. Take Loyola Marymount.

California +2.5 over Washington State (loss)
Cal has been frustrating to back this year. The Washington State Cougars won the first matchup as Isaac Bonton had a nice 20 point night. Bonton has been out the last week with an ankle injury and I don’t think he will play tonight or at the very least won’t be 100 percent. This team has been turning over the ball like it’s their job. This should be an ugly and low scoring game which favors the way the Bears play. Take Cal.
