Chargers +3 over Raiders (loss)
Tonight’s matchup is a battle of two teams that need an absolute miracle to make the playoffs. It’s too bad we get treated to matchups like this in primetime, but the entire NFL season has been subpar with so many young QBs. Today’s game is no different. Chargers QB Justin Herbert is down for the year, so we will see long-term inexperienced backup Austin Stick take his place, and on the other side, the Raiders start rookie Aidan O’Connell, or at least we think. The Raiders are mum on who they will be starting. The Raiders have an interim coaching staff, and key players are in question to play tonight. Running back Josh Jacobs didn’t practice, nor did receiver Davante Adams. The Raiders will be without two starters on the offensive line, and Maxx Crosby is less than 100 percent on the defensive side of the ball. The Chargers are without Keenan Allen, but I like their offensive line and running game slightly more. Take the Chargers.
